I have a Grevellea too Bernieh, but mine still is at the tight little buds stage with just a hint of colour coming on them. Beautiful colour............

Wonderful colour....we used to have a Grevillea tree with yellow blooms....such an unusual shape flower.

Yes Janey the colours of our grevilleas are becoming more and more interesting - I think it has a lot to do with the hard work of our nurseries and there work in developing this plant.

is this is a typical australian plant? I have seen australian plants and the colours are soo fibrant as I hardly ever see here in Ontario, Canada. Just lovely! thanks for sharing!

We do have some bright colourful natives like the grevilleas, the banksias, the proteas, the melaleucas, the boronias, the eucalyptus and our wildflowers. While the plants themselves may not look like much the flowers are spectacular - lots of reds, oranges, purples, pinks, yellows and whites!
