a miniature rock garden

a miniature rock garden

am putting here some miniature rockgarden plants. to jazz it up a bit. can't help but clutter up spaces in my garden. Here it defenitely doesn't go: less is better, although am sure, others wouldn't agree. but ah, I am always curious what nature will do and how it make it all look. so I planted this 2 summers ago and this is how it looked in the second summer. I might have to split it up this year. but we'll see.

ah yes! do you remember? about 10 years ago? there was this colour which people used on all sorts of crafts? it would turn this colour? which is the colour of copper, when it turns when it is left alone? that is the colour of the post.

In the summer I have a chime hanging there and some planters. Also a New Dawn rose has been planted by me there and this year am planting a honeysuckle on the other side as well that I have planted a clematis there already.

I do,what I call company planting. in that I put plants which I like? together. like for example, miniature roses and lavendar en thyme and honeysuckle and clematis.

I have on the other side a few hydrangeas.. am a sucker for the flower.. but the other side has the varied colour ones, inside the garden there is one who gives me very early on the spring already the huuuuge white blossoms. And then there is one fence which has a climbing hydrangea.. ah, my garden is my funplace. never large enough.... alas alas... my hub says, even if I had hundreds of acres of garden, it would be filled up in no time and I would complain that I didn't have enough space for a garden.. am afraid? he IS right.. sigh sigh
