I love the plant on the right. Do you happen to know what it is?

Very large philodendron, I'm sure it's got a more specific name than that...lol.

Botanic name is philodendron bipinnatifidum - sold as philodendron selloum. It's common name over here in Oz is split-leaf, cut-leaf or tree philodendron. It grows as a large shrub with these enormous leaves and a single stem that does tend to fall over and sprawl when the plant gets large.

Thanks for the name!

Gillian:

Bernieh is correct it is Philodendron bipinnatifidum. Philodendron selloum has a much larger and fuller leave not as deeply cut. I have posted photos of very large specimens of both species. Check out some of my older photos.

They can grow very tall more than 20 feet / 7 meters tall especially when attached to a tree. It is an extremely common landscape plant here.

Thank you, name has been corrected now. Great looking plant, whatever the correct name is!

Gillian:

It is a bit confusing...there's so many hybirds. P. bipinnatifidum and P. selloum are very similar in appearance and then there's P. evansii which
has even larger leaves and grows much larger overall. These 3 Philodendron species are very common here and I think they can even hybridize.
