Well I don't think I'll be getting much of my project done today...

great ESSEX weather...........................

i know Egg is'nt it great, Brooke has never seen snow like this...she has been waiting by the back door looking at it since 6am - now the light is up she is nagging me to build snowmen...oh well here comes the big kid in me lol....

lol well not quite a break Lori, Brooke is off school, - no such thing as a break with a 3 1/3 year old bored indoors! lol although we did make a lovely snowman, i may just do a blog on our alternative garden activities today. and yes it is lovely, ours is really deep now, approx 12" and still coming down, apprently we could get another 10" in the next 24 hours and they recon it is going to keep snowing till wednesday.... i do love the snow, but i must admit i get bored of it after the first day or two. lol

When I saw the CBC footage London, I was surprised to say the least...I can just imagine all the mitigating factors!! Your municipalities don't own snow removal equipment do they? Two feet of snow in London...that's unheard of... they're talking cost in the millions all because of a bit of solid precip!! You have my sympathies...I'm glad you are taking it in stride...

No it's not the norm at all Lori, i was a kid last time we had snow like this. It seems to have stopped, now, hope so, because the roads are like ice rinks, and no grit to be seen anywhere, how ridicuous. i stocked up on all the essentials yesterday, because i just knew i would'nt want to drive the day after as it becomes really icey so me and Brooke will be staying in the warm - we may take a little walk over to the park for a snow fight at some point lol. but we have Barbie films galor, chocolate, and popcorn, so we are going to have 'Chick Flick' day i think.

my kids off today too. we havent had snow for five years. have to make a snowman.... :0))

wow well i hope every one was safe and did not get into any car accidents becuse of the snow :( but at the same time me and lori should take a picture of how high the snow is at our homes :P ill post one soon

yes more of the white stuff everywhere this morning, it did come down quite heavy last night, but i think we must have had some rain since then as it is like slush, and the roads are more or less clear.

Yes, same here. I looked out a couple times in the night but no rain although I could here the snow melting and dripping. Let's hope that's the lot for Essex now. Don't want anymore.
