Yes it has been eased off a bit but London ground to a halt so all news concentrating there.If forecast correct you shouldnt see much but we been warned to expect up to 30cms ( 1 ft) tonight.Have some pics on a blog of poor birds today - sorry not advertising on your page , Eileen only mentioned if interested.lol

my brother lives an hr from here, he didnt make it in to work, rds were too bad and yet my sis who lives 2 hrs away says they have not had any snow at all, think its the east coast of ireland that is really getting the snow

We're had snow for the last 24 hours, my mummy in Suffolk hasn't got any! I know we've got more on the way too! No good for me on my 50cc to get to work, luckily I had a lift in today, and hopefully I'll get a lift in tomorrow, fingers crossed it'll all be gone by Wednesday.

hope you do get a lift to work in the morning or maybe they will give you the day off lol and you can relax in the warmth with a good read and a cupa

I'm safely back in the window now, complete with a wet elbow from leaning on the snowy windowsill. In the 9 years on the old 50cc, I've lost 2 days of riding to work due to the snow, (and one of those days was today!) not bad eh? Only takes 10 mins to get to work on it, but when I walked in last time it snowed took an hour and a half! Wouldn't risk it if there was any danger to myself, I hear a broken leg is quite painful, LOL! Doubt if boss would give me a day off, ;-(
My manager was an hour late in this morning though!
