~looking good Lori~I have five in various stages of growth so they should flower over quite a period!

ah yes... good thinking Arlene....I just plunked them all in their pots...not giving a thought to prolonging their blooming period!

~why not~you will have quite a show!
I have also bought them as I have seen them reduced ~not all together~so don't give me too much credit!
Last year when we were at Wisley they had a table full of red ones in bloom~very impressive!

oh goodie! I have "Bouquet", "Maria Goretti" and "Picotee" ...Bouquet is red/orange, MG is a creamy white, and Picotee has the maroon edging. should make a pretty nice display...they are quite a show when massed together like Wisley... How often do you visit Wisley, Arlene?

~we try to go at least twice a year~Kew as well~ but if it wasn't for the two hundred and odd miles each way we would go more often.
We have accomodation booked at the end of the month just after my husband's birthday and we were going to have a tropical tour at Kew and see Butterflys in the new Glasshouse at Wisley but may need to cancel because he won't be able to cope on crutches.
Disappointing to say the least!

Oh poor hubby on those crutches... Is he as avid a gardener as your are Arlene? I'd be tempted to rent a wheelchair...lol.. wish I could see Wisley and Kew, too!
.I collect silver...nothing old or super valuable, though, get my exercise cleaning the stuff!!
Yes, 1cyc. I waited patiently...and I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the Picotee...the blooms are a beautiful clear white...no red edges! would have been nice if it was perfect..but I love it ...it is a very tall strong plant compared to the other two... the M.Goretti is very short but the flowers are HUGE... about a span wide... the flowers last a very long time too... the Bouquet was terrific for the colour... so all in all I'm pretty happy with my bargains!
