Larix decidua 'Pendula', the bare stems have a pleasing look even in the winter snow at Foxhollow.

Lori. In as much as it doesn't produce a leader, it just continually grows new branches that overlap from the top and cascade down to the ground. If you wanted a taller specimen you would need to buy one that was grafted onto a higher stem.

when those branches touch the ground, will they root? could it produce offsets....or, being a broom, is it sterile?
