I finally got my wish....

I finally got my wish....

yes, I went out in the garden when I got home from work and built a mini-snowman. My hands were absolutely freezing - otherwise he would have beenmuch bigger, brrrrrr.

I just couldn't wait any longer, I've been cooped up in the office all week, listening to the news about people out there enjoying themselves, I just HAD to get out there and have a go. I'd forgotten just how cold your hands get when building a snowman. I guess he'll have melted away by morning?? Actually, I think 'he's' a 'she', with Ivy for hair, she should be called.....'Holly'! Ha!

I bet she was - hubby was cooking our dinner tonight and I was longing to get out there - had to wait til I'd eaten my tea - like a good little girl. On the way home, some of the Uni students had built a couple of smiling snowmen on the side of the road, they were fab - I was soooooooo jealous! Schools were closed and the Uni students went home early, some other companies sent their workers home early too....not where I work though - I had to stay til the bitter end! Unlucky me!

I have a Monday to Friday job luckily - but if the snow thaws I'll never get to make my snowmans buddy. =^..^=
I'll just have to busy myself in the shed for a couple of hours. It's a tough job, but, hey, someone's gotta do it!

Little, but full of character.

Tasteyg, the arms are made from garden canes. The eyes were pieces of slate and the ivy from the overgrown plant pot full. She was feeling a bit chilly, so I popped indoors and got her a nice warm scarf and hat to wear - sadly I did not take a piccy of her dressed...brrrr.
