Not many of the wallabies do this - they usually stay in the yard downstairs. This little one must have been sick of the long wet grass and decided to eat somewhere a little drier!

He sure is cute even with his mouth full. As for the plants I think you must be talking about the 'mother-in-law's tongue' - that just grows everywhere in that particular garden bed with no attention whatsoever.
