They are quite keen, the oldest one wanted little gardening tools for xmas

I think it's great that you can get such a range of smaller tools now. Everytime we visit a garden centre I always say to Julie(my wife), ' I wish I had a grandchild to buy some for to help me in the garden' But I guess I'll have to wait a while. My eldest isn't showing any signs of settling down(in fact he moved back with us 7 months ago after 6 years away from home) and the youngest is still at University.

Most of our friends had grandchildren long before us, but it did happen eventually, and there is nothing like it. Hoping for a grandaughter sometime! My dad was a keen gardener, & his dad & my great grandad were both florist nurserymen. I've been a florist all my life as well so I suppose it's in the blood.
