What snow, Mom?

thanks Janette! we are growing old together...she is in her twelfth year. Im...well let's say ancient, lol...
The snow is her element...she is actually comfortable outside...indoors with the heat on it might be a little chilly for the rest of us...but poor Mandy is stifled! in summer she practically lives in the basement...

I'm not surprised with that lovely thick coat on her Lori. She really is a lovely dog.

Mandy is wonderful.
I like it when the snow settles on the edge of their coats.
This happens with Shelties too.
So pretty.

She is a mixed breed...but exactly what mixture is up for discussion! lol..
I know that she must be part Husky...or perhaps Samoyed... her coat is three layers...it is more like a fleece that a coat...Recently I've seen the name "esquimaux" or eskimo attached to dogs like her... I think my favourite of all her features are those pretty perky ears, with the downy tufts!

Mandy looks a lot like a long haired sheppard to me. She is beautiful.
