Another GOY cooker disaster!

After this I vowed to not get so engrossed in GOY....a vow I soon broke and still do!

Hey, chill! Our cooker looks a darn sight worse than this most days of the year, becos I generally find something more fun to do than clean it, and no-one else ever does, it would not occur to them. But we prefer to eat real food, so stuff does get spilt a lot.
And yes, GOY/pottering in the garden and weeding are a lot more fun than cleaning pesky cookers. : ))

I agree Weeding. My stove top looks like this frequently....I mean several times a day....I do clean it.....really I do......but I have teenagers who think cleaning up after themselves is beneath their dignity....I'm sure I didn't bring them up to be like this....I think they are changelings.

Well, I wouldn't have thought it in the wee hours of this morning when i wrote the above, but guess what, i have just cleaned well, er, most of the yucky cooker. The reason? I was thinking about the raised bed I could build and the curtain rail that really needs to go up today (husband sneaked off to Dublin for weekend)... but Gardeners' Question Time was on BBC radio and I just couldn't tear myself away!

LOL Weeding, and like you we eat real food so spillages and splashes happen a lot too! Only 2 of us now so no-one else to clean up, not that they ever did!
Gilli ~ all teenagers behave like changelings, until, like mine, they move to a place of their own. Then they realise, there is no cleaning fairy...it must have been Mum...guess now I'll have to do it!

I only took the photo because I couldn't believe my eyes, it was all up the walls too! I seem to remember not having been on GOY long and didn't realise then that we post daft pictures like this too!
