Raphiolepis indica - India Hawthorne

This is a very commonly grown shrub here. This plant was blooming and had very fragrant flowers. I'm sure these plants are plentiful in England also...although I'm not sure if they are blooming this early in the year there. Does any know? Photo taken in Mission Bay Park, San Diego on Feb. 22, 2009.
