This ice plant is available in many bright colors such as: red, yellow, pink, purple, and many other colors.

Bernieh, yes it is an interesting garden...it's a xeriscape garden.
Sandra, ice plant is a tough plant...they usually start blooming in mid-February here or sometimes earlier.

I sure understand xeriscape gardening - we do lots of that here. I was wondering what that stunning red shrub is behind the grasses and that lavender-looking shrub.

I'm not sure what the red plant is behind the grasses and Lavender - Lavendula angustifolia (lavender looking shrub) lol! I'll have to go see next I go down this street...which is only about 1/4 mile from where I live.
