Exactly that's why they are so popular here too - the town council plants these on the city's and suburban footpaths because they are evergreen and summer-flowering. They are a great tree!

I really love this species of Tabebuia. It stays evergreen and blooms here in the Summer. It's one of the few Summer flowering Tabubuia tree species...most bloom in Winter or very early Spring.
