Thanks all! Yes Janette the garden is finally drying out. My hubbie was able to do some mowing yesterday as well - so today the place is starting to look decent once again. According to the news bulletin yesterday, our city has now recorded it's wettest summer ever since records began - in 2 months we've had almost twice as much rain as we normally receive in one year.
