I like seeing pictures like this of British towns, with little trees and grass verges at the sides :o)

I love the zigzaggy markings in the street...lol..never see that here...ever..what is it marking there?

The zigzag lines are a cheap way of telling us that a lower speed limit applies - I think. We have these lines here and they mean that a 25 KPH speed limit applies when children are in the vicinity - side of the road. Either that or its the width of the crossing for drunks on a Friday night.

I am from the Newcastle area originally and of course we Geordies love the Tyne bridge~2 years ago my Daughter and Son in law walked over the Sydney Harbour bridge which is the same but bigger~slightly!
