Have you got plans for this area? I have a horrible weed growing everywhere in my front garden - it gets very depressing when it is so persistent.

I have a terrible area of my garden too. At least that means we haven't run out of gardening room yet!

Not sure what to do with it to be honest, there are bricks under where toffee is sat where the previous owner had a compost structure but was falling to bits, so i could construct another one, its a bit of a waste area to be honest the trees cover it so its very shady when their leaves are out, there is a plum tree on the left you can just see its trunk and the tree in the foreground is a false acacia so not a lot grows except the weeds!!! I don't know what to do with it.

Maybe a raised flower bed or some big huge whiskey barrells?
Be a shame to not have flowers help show off that great looking fence you have. Did you make it yourself or buy it in sections that you just had to put up?

actually the people who live at the back of us put it up, i didn't argue!! they bought a springer spaniel and she kept coming into our garden so they put up a better fence, i was very grateful!!! some tubs sound a nice idea Newfie will have to think on what i want in them, i have put some climbers in front of the fence, jasmine, clematis and a honey suckle, it should smell nice if nothing else!!
