I did not take them, my husband did. I just told him which bit of the plant I wanted. The plant stalks had got so heavy, where they overhung the path the Gardeners had propped them up with sticks, you can see the grey stick in the foreground. These gardens are particularly well kept.

Yes, I see the stick.
I reckon I could copy that stick idea on a smaller scale for some plants which get heavy during the summer.

Thank you, on his behalf. I have just shown him the results of his work on the site, he is pleased with the effect of the photos. I do have a few more, that I will put on another day.
