New laurel hedge

I planted a new hedge last weekend to hide a neighbours ugly construction (we had a 100 year old Hawthorn hedge which they wrecked. I was devastated because it was a haven for wildlife. They live three doors away and own the field that spans across immediate neighbours garden and ours. They never even had the courtesy to let us know their plans or discuss and have upset a few of us in the immediate area) I have cleared the whole area and started planting snowdrops in the green and a few hellebores, I think laurel grows fairly quickly so hope their ugly construction will be hidden eventually.

I wish you success with your plans to cover the ugly construction.
