Just sharing..Tg... the positioning of this piece of art was controversial...personally I think it's fantastic...and I wanted to share this spider guarding our national heritage!! lol....Interesting link too..if you care to take a look...

I'm going to the gallery this summer and will take my own shots of Maman... LOL..Marguerite...she is (I'm estimating) about 20 ft. tall. This sculpture is HUGE! imagine finding her lurking in your back garden!!

LOL...Yes GG and Ff... Ff...the Rideau Canal is not very far away or the River either...nobody's tried yet...people are actually fans of hers...and no she's solid metal definitely not interested in flies or old ladies! It's quite an experience to walk in and stand directly under her abdomen...wow...
