I spotted this fellow early morning but he escaped for many hours till afternoon when I found him again. I've never seen such orange black slug before. Thought they were grey or black...yikes!!

It looks really big, doesn't it? Or is it because it's on a picture?
How big are they (aproximately)?

Holantina, it was about 10 cm in length and the fattest part of it's body was 2-2.5 cm. It's big for my standard....I don't like slugs..think they're worse than snails..look exposed to me :p

Oh, my.... They are at least 3 times bigger the ones i have seen in my garden! I never have slug plagues here (which i'm very happyl about) but i see a few here and there from time to time. I don't think they like it in my garden lol. Earwigs, on the contrary, seem to enjoy to much eating my dahlia's buds.

Oh really..actually I've no experience with slugs. This is the first time I see a slug up close and personal!! It must have been from a pot of Petunia I bought fr the nursery..I saw a hundred eggs inside the soil of that pot after an inspection..Cos there's no way the slug can climb up 12th floors without being eaten by birds..I don't think I've seen an earwig before..maybe I'm nto observant enough..they're small right, with pincers?
