Grows all round the Northern Hemisphere, has a big trunk just beneath the surface

very interesting. another one on the wish list.

I have our native Rhodiola rosea. I saw this species recently on a trip to Beth Chatto's and saw it in the nursery. Nearly bought it too........damn!
