Blue star (Tweedia caerulea)

Two years ago, I was amazed to see cyanic flowers at first and got it instantly. Many flowers came out last year as expected.
This plants can be propagated by cuttings, but difficult to grow roots, One in three cuttings has been living.

My friend gave me a small plant of this last year - it didn't survive the winter, though. Lovely photo!

This plant distribute from Uruguay to southern Brazil, so it doesn't survive below 0 deg C. We have snowfalls 4 - 6 times every year, but melt almost within about 3 days, so it may survive by mulching and vinyl sheet.
