They are indeed similar in size and shape - and he's just gorgeous. Love the close-up as it shows up those fluorescent blues and greens on his wings and back. This one looks a little like the Western Rosella from Western Australia which I was lucky enough to see in the wild when we toured around Oz a few years back.

Bernieh This Stanly Parakeet is one of the smallest Parakeet I think it would be about the size of the ones you have flying in your garden.Apart from the colour they are very simular in size and shape
