This was taken this evening ... realised our friend is taller than me ..... also taller than the others which bloomed last 2 weeks ....

The petals are the same until the rain mess them up. We have rain everyday .... to borrow TT's phrase, the flower having a "bad hair day"
Its not just the sunflowers looking battered. The rose, balsams, hibiscus don't look nice after the rain ....

JJ, not long at all. 3 to 4 days if light rain ... big rain, big wind, less than that ...
