Hi Marguerite. No I've never tasted begonia leaves - what do they taste like? As for the poor old guinea pig - he has met his demise. I'm not sure what happened but it looks like he went wandering out on the grass and has been attacked by something (probably the dog from next door that wanders into our yard and chases the wallabies when we're not here - he's a huge dog and has been known to catch them). I came home from work to find the poor thing out on the grass.
