I was given this Tree Peony by a lady at the local garden centre, it was a 6 inch tall dead stick. I planted it in the garden and it flowered the following year, that was four years ago.

From the looks of it, it has done very well indeed. I too like taking a "lost cause" and bringing it back. I call them my Lazarus plants.
