With a lot of help from Mum and Dad I'm ready to start planting. Now, if I can only remember the names of what I plant, I'll really be getting somewhere!

not at all, my problem is squirrels! I love the birds and there are quite a few around, but the nuts never stay there long enough for the birds to find them - the squirrel always comes and wrecks them! Any ideas?

There are squirrel-proof bird-feeders which have an outer cage. Only the smaller birds can get through the outer cage to reach the bird food and peanuts in the inner container. Works well. :o)
I love your photo of dear old Nelly.
My old Welsh Terrier died last year of liver failure.
We miss our old dogs, but I have a new puppy who is lots of fun. He gets on well with my Shetland Sheepdog :o)
By the way, Poaannua has some lovely plants and photos :o)

he certainly does. His garden and nursery are my favourite place, I love to visit and wander round.

Good luck with the planting.
Blackbirds making nests pulled up some of my plants and labels.
Not a help. Lol.
