We have loads of hedgehogs in the garden. At dusk one evening last August we counted fifteen all around the garden!! Part of it is due to the fact that we feed them every night, but if you do encourage them you'll find there are hardly and slugs and snails left to eat your plants!

Awww. They are lovely. I wish we had them over here. Much better to have a hedgehog in the garden than a bear.
