hi gilli thanks for the message. its called william lobb and it is of the moss rose family. the scent is devine, just chocolate turkish delight.

Oh I love moss roses. I'll have to see if I can find this one. It looks to have a colour blend. Is that right or is it just the photograph? Thanks for the name. There is a place out on Saltspring Island over here that specializes in old garden roses....they might have one. :o)

I agree about the scent. When I moved, I could not take the one I had in London because it was too big. I searched everywhere for a replacement then finally found it at Peter Beales Roses. They have most of the roses I missed.
