Enreisou (Trillicum kamtschaticum)

This is native to Japan. i have searched for English name, but can't find it yet.
Putting the pot inside, it comes out in the early April.
Combimation of colour with every flower parts is fantastically beautiful.
All parts of the flowers is based on 3 as a cardinal number, which is the origin of Scientific name, 'Trllicum kamtchaticum'.
Flower size: 4.5 - 5.5 cm
Distribution: Central Honshuu to Hokkaido in Japan, Kamchatka and eastern Siberia.

It looks like Trillium, a sort I've never seen. :-) A common name is Wake Robin. These are beautiful.

I do like this Tsuyoshi, It looks like what we call Trillium. Would also look great in my white garden. I am going to a big plant sale on Sunday so I will look to see if anyone is selling them.

This plant is seemed to be hardy compared to Altai anemone you planted.
There are many varieties in this species. if you see them (only images), refer to Japanese site, http://futarinoyakata.web.infoseek.co.jp/shiroihana-hikaku.htm, collected some white Trillium.
Yes, This varieties are Trillium ----, by scientific name, and has 3 as a cardinal number. I hope you will look for it.
