A Hole

A Hole

I,ve just dug this hole which will have a plastic container and a pump in it. Its at the end of a dummy stream that I made a few years ago that fed into the first pond that we built. With the advent of grandchildren the pond has been a source of anxiety, so we have turned it into another bog garden. The container will have a cover of some sort and will pump the water back up to the top water feature.( Gripping stuff this isn't it ) When I went back to the hole this morning there where 3 Kamikaze newts at the bottom.I think they may have been females because if I'd wanted them to have chuck themselves into the hole they wouldn't have gone anywhere near it. More piccies when its working.

Have you seen the blog by FourSeasonsGarden, where they made a stream across their garden ? I'll come back and put the blog number if I can find it. Four Seasons blog 16. :o)

I've just looked at the Fourseasons site TT and I think that they are in a league of their own.All that rock etc must have cost a fortune. I'm hoping to get change back out of £5 when I buy what materials I need

Glad you found the blog no. 16.
Thought it may give you a few ideas, even though your project is on a smaller scale.

What will you buy with the change out of the fiver ? Lol.
Maybe plastic ducks to float on your stream ?
I reckon your design will be really interesting and attractive.
Looking forward to more pics. :o)
