Yes it does, they paint the streets with yellow.

Very lovely ,bright colored flowers, looks like a form of Cassia.

Do they have a scent, Aleyna? We had a similar looking yellow-flowered vine trailing all over our stoep roof and hanging down the sides, in South Africa. Would love to know its name.

Yes, they have some bittersweet fragance like a mix of orange flowers and jasmin.
I'm not sure about the name, but i guess is a cassia fistula.
