Building a wall is not such an easy thing to do. Even if it is a wall for the dwarfs :)...

:)) Well, TT, my dwarfs are from Tolkien's world, so they are more than seven. Even so, my work is slow, as I have to find the best shaped stones. I hope I'll find enough to finish the road to the gate. I really like the yellow rocks and stones of this region of France.

Are the stones just found in your garden, or from elsewhere ?

The stones are from my garden, there are a plenty of them here, in this part of France. They are "Pierre de Jaumont" ("stone of Jaumont").
With me being in love with this warming-yellow stone, I've searched for and I found these information on Internet:
"Jaumont" is the shorthand for "Jaune-Montagne" i.e. the "Yellow Mountain". The stone is called "sunny stone" by locals who enjoy the cheerful sight during gray winter weather. It's a 175 millions year old sand/lime stone. The yellow color comes from iron rust.
