Thanks...it is. Even though these plants are so very common throughout
California. The largest and healthiest specimens of Aeonium I've ever seen were growing in Carmel, CA...just south of Monterey.

Yes, it is...I used to go to The Hog's Breath Restaurant when Clint Eastwood owned it. It was a wonderful place to eat.
The actress: Doris Day lives in Carmel also.

That's a gorgeous plant!
Carmel is a lovely town, as many others set along the Big Sur. I have a few lovely pictures from Carmel, also a piece of dry wood collected from the sand.

Thanks. Yes, Carmel and Big Sur are the very beautiful parts of the Central California Coast. I've been there many times...and yes driftwood is very common along the beaches.

wow thats a lovely one. i was at the beach yesterday and it was full of holiday makers too. not many rave enough to be in the water though ...still tooo cold.
