Today it was partly cloudy and nice...and tomorrow it may rain. LOL. Which is pretty unusual for this time of the year. However, we need the rain badly!

Yes, it is. Other parts of this beach were more crowded, however, I feel uncomfortable taking photos of a whole lot of people at the beach...you never know who doesn't want their photo taken. In Summer you can't see the sand there's so many people at this beach.

I guess taking pictures from that far cant bother people at all, because their faces are not showing up.
I'd say is quite difficult take pictures of beaches without people, doesn't matter when in the seasons you are taking those.
I have some pictures from my last trip to USA, during may, and you know how cold the north west coast can be, and even then there were some people around.
Considering 70%of our body is water, its credible we have some kind of connection to the ocean remaining in our cell memories :o)

The water temp. is starting to warm up here, however, it still too cold for my Hawaiian Blood. LOL! Our beaches stay busy here all year though. By the end June and July the water temp should be around 75 degrees/ 24 degrees or so. We don't get the very warm ocean temperatures that the Southern and Eastern United States have during their Summer.

During 'El Niño' years the water temps can be considerably higher a long the California coast: 8 to almost 10 degrees above normal.
