We were only taught about Roos and Wallabies! What a shame! What a lovely creature. How big is he? Australia really is a marvelous place. We only have regular things like wild boars and deer.

Hi Trish bar - these fabulous little creatures are usually around 30 to 55 cm in length. Unfortunately they've been disappearing from the environment and there are only three areas that they inhabit now - they're on our endangered list! Their natural habitat is the desert but I'm lucky as the nearby animal sanctuary has one - so I've been able to see one up close (he was asleep though - they're nocturnal).
