This is a very commonly grown shrub in Coastal California. It's one of the easiest plants to grow.

Yes, all the varieties are very, very common here as a landscape plant. People also use them as indoor plants. This posted plant is used as a small shrub, however, they can grown over 20 feet / 6 meters tall.

One of the first houseplants I owned was a Schefflera, also had a Dracaena warnecki, and ficus benjamina...

You may have seen these plants that you've listed in my past posting growing in the ground as very large specimens. All these plants are extremely common garden/landscape plants here in San Diego.

Nice pic, the leaves look similar to the local tapioka plant here.
