Is this dogs tooth violet?

I have clumps of this all over the garden but mainly in the lee of a garage wall (sw facing) under a magnolia. Last year in same place but a months earlier it was snowdrops...

It has replaced my snowdrops completely. I preferred the snowdrops, so it is gone sorry.

No, it's a wild allium and a REAL pest. You need to stop it setting seed AND dig out every single bulb and bulbil to prevent it taking over your garden. Good luck - you're going to need it
