These grape hyacinths are growing in a pot of mint, but beneath the pot, which is suspended on a crossbar of the balcony railing, there is a much bigger pot in which my rose, Fred Loads, grows & it's new foliage is just beginning to come up in front of the pot of mint & grape Hyacinths.
I took this photo at the end of March, 2009.
