I hate the taste of cilantro, but it's an attractive plant :)

Yes, it's edible. The leaves are used a lot in mexican cuisine. It's used chopped up fresh in salsa. Can be used in savory dishes for added flavor. The chinese also use this herb in cooking. They call it yin sy. Personally...I can't stand the taste of it! Coriander is the seed from this plant and is used as a spice.

I asked Shirley what this plant was when I saw it in her garden and she said that it was cilantro, but looking at the leaves closer it looks more like dill to me. I'll have to ask her again.
