He came back this afternoon with his mate, but they were too quick for me to get them both together as they circled around.

I was lucky - unless the auto focus camera finds the target you're after, all you get is a blur when something moves this fast... But thanks anyway!!

I'm not going to try it, Toto - have you seen the beak on these things?? Two of them out there got pretty annoyed when I went out on the deck to try and get better photos - and they were 50 yds away... Thought I'd get dive bombed. But you're right - they are only interested in dead stuff - carrion, the older the better it seems by the age of the raccoon carcass here.
