hi all, can anybody tell me why my yukka is turning red, i have recently took it out of a pot that was outside and put it in the ground. scousemonk.(john.)

Check out blog by Pansypotter, written on 16th April (yesterday) about her Yucca. Not quite the same ailment, but there may be some useful information on that thread for you. I hope this helps.

There is a varigated Yucca that takes on a red tinge in the winter time. Yucca aloifolia 'variegata'. I think the red tinge fades away in the summer. It looks like this is the type of Yucca you have.....if so, it is perfectly normal.

I have a plant that looks like this Sm...but mine is Cordyline 'Torbay Dazzler', it turns a little pink like this from the cold, its in a pot so i can move it somewhere more sheltered...:>)
