We were at the party held by Susan Carvalho, also a student of Donald's while at the University of Virginia, now a Dean at the University of Kentucky, for all grad students and alums of UVa. She and her husband live in the countryside and have several border collies trained to herd sheep. The sheep belong to a neighbor.
