Books are great if you want to learn Newfie, but must be accompanied by lots of gardening and, if like me, lots of mistakes cause that's where the fun and the tears are.

Nice collection. I've got a few gardening books and I refer to them here and there, but I agree it's more about being in the garden...perhaps read in the garden after you've gardened ;~)

I like to read in the bathtub on cold winter days...Which is why all the books have crinkly pages. lol.
And one thing I'm not short on in the garden, Toto, is mistakes and failures....have made loads of them!!!!

It won't get done if all you do is read books. You have to go out there and get on with it. That's where the enjoyment is :o)
