It's slugs and snails that eat my campanula :o(

Mine too TT, but last year it was attacked by these horrible ants that almost killed it off - luckily half of it was saved with the help of a special powder ...

hmmm I have three species of ant (that I'm aware of) in my garden, and they don't seem interested in my campanula...thanks for the warning will have to keep an eye!

They were very smelly little things and apparently potentially lethal as they have been known to eat their way through a walnut tree - -
Luckily my neighbour Ottavia found and got rid of them and thus managed to salvage about half of it last September, then nature did the rest to restore it to its former glory. I admit (modestly !!) that it's quite an eye catcher and people are forever stopping as they walk along to take a photo of it ....
