Are you growing any new varieties this year ?

I only joined yesterday - think I have found some new friends!
This year I have another plot where I am growing Potatoes: Ostara (French I think!), Desiree, Charlotte and Ratte. Also in that plot, loads of French beans as they freeze well. Also have an area there with Gooseberries, blackcurrants, red and white currants, strawberries and blueberries. With the blackcurrants I make Vodka Blackcurrant Liqueur - the French love it!! In my original veg garden this year I am growing: cabbage, cauli, swiss chard (blette), beetroot, celeriac, lettuce, spring onions, radishes, rocket, parsley, basil, carrots, spinach, parsnip, mangetout, turnip and loads of broad beans. Think I will be busy for a while!! Thank you everyone for your interest, it is so encouraging as my husband doesn't quite share my passion!!
Will take some new photos soon.

Hi Annafrance.....Welcome to GoY. What a lovely looking veggie garden. You have a big variety growing there. I know what you mean about your husband not sharing your passion.....my Murray is just the same. He is good about moving things around or digging holes and especially anything that involves his chainsaw (LOL) but that is the extent of his help. I hope you enjoy being part of this wonderful online community. It is very addictive. I find myself on here when I should really be doing all sorts of things. :o)
