Hi There, it looks very healthy and look how the crown has grown since last year! My new leaves have been touched by frost so they have a brown edge :-(

This is its second year, but i bought it quite mature i think off ebay. The leaves get to three times that size - ive tried planting under it this year, not sure how that will work out

Ok i think, its quite small - so far it hasnt been mauled by the slugs that seem to plague the spot its in!

Hope the slugs dont get a taste for it then.

Is this the one that can grow huge. A good umbrella in wet weather.

I can remember visiting a gardens and they had huge plants that looked like giant rhubarb and very hairy and Gerry and I stood underneath the leaves because it rained.

It would be gunnera I guess Linda. Mine usually reaches my height (5ft 5") and the leafes are about 2 feet across - I love the plant and very handy in the rain, lol.
