That looks a bit like the passion vine blooms that I have growing!
What is it? Very beautiful! Are they perennial?

Its an alpine called Pusatilla or more commomly called 'pasque flower'....I have them growing in a trough...purple, wine and white ones...lovely and the fluffy seed-heads are nice too.....yes N2org...perennial.....

Oh boy, Oh boy! I GOTTA have one!
I just wonder if they would be perennial in zone 8b here in Texas.
I'll have to research that. The yellow and violet contrast is just beautiful!
